Estimate Statuses & Required Fields
Draft
The consultant, the account manager or the admin user click on the Create Estimate button in the Estimates page or under a specific Campaign in the Campaigns page.
Whether you are creating a new Campaign/Estimate from the start, adding an Estimate to an existing Campaign or editing an existing Estimate you must click on the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of each page to secure the data entered.
When creating a new Campaign/Estimate from the start or adding an Estimate to an existing Campaign the ‘Save’ button will additionally put your new estimate into ‘Draft’ status’.
Only the estimate creator is able to see their ‘Draft’ estimates.
Live
Draft creator clicks on the ‘Make Live’ button -
At this point the Estimate details become available for anyone with view access to this client. All Consultants who are assigned to this client account will be able to see every estimate associated with this client account whether they are working on the specific estimate or not. Likewise, Account Managers assigned to this client account and Admin staff will also be able to see and edit all ‘Live’ estimates for this client.
Minimum data requirements for an estimate to be moved to ‘Live’ status -
Client Name; Campaign Name; Category; Brand; Campaign Budget Currency; Estimate Name; Estimate Currency; Media Types; Regions; Countries
Approved
Approved means the final, adjusted estimate has been signed off by the client and the agency has been given the go-ahead to start the production work. At this point the Consultant or the MCA Account Manager clicks on the ‘Approved’ to mark the estimate as ‘Approved’.
The ‘Client’s Approval date’ field is under the ‘Negotiation’ tab in the ‘Process’ section and it is mandatory for the Estimate to be marked as Approved.
To mark an Estimate as Approved, all the necessary amounts and information must have been saved in the ‘Bids’ page.
Requirements for an estimate to be marked as approved -
Client Name; Campaign Name; Category; Brand; Campaign Budget Currency; Estimate Name; Estimate Currency; Media Types; Regions; Countries; Agency Name; All Deliverables; Agency Budget; Client Internal Budget; Budget Source; Budget Center; Budget Year; Agency Account Lead; MCA Engagement Date; MCA Consultants; Brief To Consultant; Cost avoidance; Added value; All Cost Categories & Line Items
At the point of ‘Approved’ the MCA finance team will invoice the client.
Finance will get a notification automatically when an estimate is marked as ‘Approved’.
Waiting for Confirmation
When the workflow of the Estimate is complete the lead consultant for this Estimate clicks on the ‘Submit’ button to request review and sign-off from the Business Leader..
At this point the Estimate goes to ‘Waiting for Confirmation’ status.
Prior to ‘Submit’ the Consultant or Account Manager should review all data entered into Control Room for this estimate making sure that all costs are accounted for and that estimate report feedback such as ‘Commentary about the job - the good, the bad and the ugly’ is complete

All estimate documents have been uploaded Consultant Hours Total can’t be 0
An email notification will be sent to the assigned Business Leader for confirmation.
Completed
When the Business Leader has reviewed/approved the estimate they click on the ‘Confirm’ button. At this point the estimate is marked as completed.
An email notification will be sent to the Consultant(s) of the estimate, that the estimate is marked as completed.
