Media Type Definitions:
Integrated Video - Where a single high quality moving image primary master (or ‘original’) is created as the source master for the creation of a combination of other moving image formats i.e. TVC, Digital, Cinema, etc.
TVC - Where a moving image asset is being created for broadcast media only.
Digital Video - Where a moving image master is created for online media like YouTube, Vimeo and Tik Tok.
Adaptation - Refers to Adaptations (versions) of a Moving Image primary masters. Involves Editorial changes. Audio visual changes for specific country requirements - voice over, supers, product, website. Transcreations are Adaptations.
Animatics - A preliminary version of a film, produced by shooting successive sections of a storyboard and adding a soundtrack.
AI Production - Where AI production techniques that combine computer science and robust datasets, to enable problem-solving are included. AI can be used for Creative Design, Content Optimization, Audience Targeting and more
Addressable Content - Delivery and targeting of templated digital campaigns that can deliver tailored messages to a viewer's individual profile and with templates that can be updated multiple times in real time.
Digital & Social Ads + Web & APPS & Gaming - Standard & Rich Banner ads, GIFS, HTML Packages, Mobile App, Website New/Relaunch, etc.
Influencers - Content created for and/or with or by Influencers
Print OOH POS - Print Assets for publication in media such as newspapers and magazines, or still images for online. “OOH” (Out of Home) - Outdoor display sites with either static or moving images. “POS” (Point of Sale) - Indoor display sites i.e. end of aisle display in a supermarket with either static or moving images.
Audio - Sound only recordings for radio, podcasts, narrations, etc.
Celebrity & Usage Rights - The management and control of Global Rights for all elements in a production; Talent, Music, Photographic, Image, Logos, etc.
Special Projects - Are projects that fall outside the stand advertising remit and can include Strategy Consultation, Benchmarking & Budgeting, Eco System Consultation and Corporate
Operational - Are projects that include the commissioning or the management of Technology Licences, Stock Photography or Ideation
Events - A mixture of media types for conferences, sporting and music events
Branded Entertainment - Creation of Branded Entertainment, movie, television, music and gaming
Deliverables Definition:
Primary Master (Moving Image) - A Primary Master (or Original) involves casting, shooting and or editing and may involve animation or CGI. (Usually involves new creative Idea).
Additional (Moving Image) - Approved in advance of full award; casting, location scouting, product demo, postponement, weather or other items required to complete the spot.
Clone (Moving Image) - Project involves shooting (and editing) replica of an existing approved moving image master, or filming (and editing of) additional scenes for local market use (Filmed Adaptation) (Animatics may not be required).
Re-shoot (Moving Image) - Partial or full remake of a Primary Master (Original).
Tag (Moving Image) - Production and/or edit of short ending to be added to existing Moving Image master.
Edits (Moving Image) - Edits or Product Alternate are re-edits of Primary Master (Original) files to feature different product variant usually filmed at time of original production (no animatics required).
Cut Down (Moving Image) - Edit only of existing longer length spot, also called a direct lift. (No animatics required).
Animation CGI (Moving Image/Still) - Computer graphics for creating or improving images in art, printed media, simulators, videos and video games.
Behind the Scenes – Motion (Moving Image/Still) - Behind-the-scenes is a moving image file and/or a sequence of still images that features the production of a film or television commercial/program.
Revision (Moving Image) - Editorial changes made to existing spot either for creative or legal or local purposes (usually no filming).
Demo (Moving Image) - New creative idea that demonstrates how the product works. Often :05-:10 long and generally created with CGI or animation. Requires strict legal guidance.
